i read some where that if you put flour on the floor before you go to bed it wont catch it but if you look at the trail of the snake it will give you a clue where it moved during the night and you might track it down

Dont give up, even if it means looking through all those cases, but dont overlook the obvious spots. THe flour trick is good to! I dont know where u live but i look for the nnearest heat sorce if it is cold where u are. And with this i have no clue if it would work but if it is cold gett some hand warmer packets and put them in socks around various places in ur basement, and check them every once and a while and espically at night. Maby ull see him around, but if u have a generally warm basement i dont know if that would work the same. Good luck and I hope u find ur friend soon!

My ball got out once, they don't usually go far from their enclosures, I found mine about ten feet away. He was behind the wall...hard to explain but we have our circuite breaker behind a wall of our bar and he was there hiding b/w a plank of wood....they can squeeze into a lot of stuff so check places you think he couldn't have gotten into as well.

ANy kind of heat source is a good place to look but remember if temperatures are too cold the snake will become im-mobile, I talked to a vet about it a while ago when I lost one of mine. Check everywhere!!! you never know...they will sometimes show up in least expected places....

My favorite piece of advice for people who have an escaped snake: When you're looking....if you dismiss someplace as too small or too tight for the snake to get into or through...CHECK there!! We big, clunky humans can't even imagine how tight of spaces they can squeeze themselves into and through.

Just another quick thing I thought about....try caging a mouse/rat and see if the smell will lure him out

So if he is immobile is that a good thing or not?
