It may or may not be. Can you actually see if they are really locked or not?

From what I've read here in other posts, until you can see the male's hemipene locked with the female, you can not be sure.

I was just going to say your exact words:) .If you can just sit and observe them you might be able to see the males hemi penis.Its a kinda reddish looking wormy looking thing.Yea i know i am going to get picked on for my description :P :O This being a family like setting its the best i could think of ;).
