telling if bp has traits?
is there anyway to tell if a bp has any genetic traits? I'm new at all of this genetics crap. lol. From what i see i have a normal bp w/o any het or anything. Can she be bred with a male with genetic make-up and produce any morphs or only potential morphs?

The only way you could produce a morph from breeding a het(something) to your normal is keep all the females from there clutch(are called pos hets) and breed back to dad when they reach breeding size and age.Time frame could be 4 to 10yrs,the 4yrs if your ball pythons are adults now and if not then add the extra years until they do breed to make your possible hets. Some have luck doing a breeding project like this some do not.I am one that would not and thats why i have a pair of 100% het albino balls to breed soon to make my albinos ;) .I hope i explained this well enough.

If you breed your normal to a co-dorm (pastel, mojave, etc) you will get some pastel, mojave, etc
