    stress and shedding
I was told by my breeder that my 06 hatchling was in blue right before he shipped the snake, to me yesterday. I've been keeping the humidity up in the tub, expecting to see a shed soon. I should mention that his eyes were clear when I got him. Does stress from shipping/new home affect shedding at all? I heard they usually shed within two days after clearing up. I was just wondering if it may take longer because of all the stress he just went through? I don't want to keep the humidity too high for too long.

Same thing happened when Adam shipped my snake to me. When he went to get her to pack her up, she was in "deep blue." By the time I got her, she had mostly cleared up, but didn't actually shed for another 3-4 days, I don't remember exactly.

Just keep the humidity bumped...and leave him alone. He'll be fine. :)
