Yup, Rats!
You can also try worms, fish, crickets and black jelly beans....J/K :D
Re: Alternative Food sources
i'd eat the black jelly beans first... is that self centered? anyone ever feed them eggs?
Re: Alternative Food sources
Best stick with rodents for the BP... that's what they eat in the wild. They do not eat eggs, and, in fact, only one type of snake can eat eggs.
As for the kingsnake, I would stick with rodents for him, too. Rodents are the most nutricious food for a snake, and what they will typically eat in the wild (garter snakes are some of the only few that typically eat fish, crickets, and worms... and kings and milks can be cannabilistic, eating other snakes, but, again, best to stick with rodents).
Re: Alternative Food sources
Mine like crabcakes and Godiva chocolate on special occasions.
Re: Alternative Food sources
Mine on the other hand prefer S'Mores and moonlit walks along the beach.
Stick with mice or rats, whichever your snake will eat and is best accessible by you.
Re: Alternative Food sources

Yup rats & mice are the best way to go!

Wow, restaurant housing at its best! :carouse:
NEVER feed a gerbil to your ball python either, not matter what anyone tells you!
