    Suprise!
So, Hayden, Brutus, and I were just hanging out in mom's room while she was getting ready for work. Brutus was treating Hayden like a little jungle gym, sniffing him and such, and Hayden didn't really seem to mind. Until Brutus got around his back end, that is. Hayden piddled all over him. It was deadly funny, but unfortunate all the same. Probably a reaction to being bothered/scared.

I never realized how much pee came out.. It soaked all the way down to the mattress pad.

    LOL!

That brings up a question I have.. how often should i replace the bedding in Kole's terrarium due to the fact i can't see where he "piddled" or how often.. and i don't want him living in his own "piddle"!

When I used aspen (we use newspaper now) I'd clean the solid urate or poop out and take all the aspen down to the bottom of the tub plus a few inches around the mess just to make sure it was totally clean. I'd regularily finger fluff the aspen to give it back some loft it loses from the body weight of the snake plus I could then feel if any was damp or clumped. Once a month to every 6 weeks everything came out down to the bare tub so it could be properly cleaned and all the substrate replaced. Hope that helps.
