    Aza additions. opinions please?
Just took the tip from the sticky on glass aquariums and used some tin foil to trap heat and humidity. Before I was having some issues, temps were stuck at 84 which obviously is a bit cold in the day. Set up the tin foil and tape, temps have been stuck so far today at 91.2 and humidity at about 40%.

It looks like a decent setup. :sweeet: I'd recommend that you place the Accurite thermometer IN the tank so that you can get temps on the warm side with the probe and on the cool side with the main unit. Ideally you should have a gradient from the low 80s to the low 90s.

Also, the box hides look a little big and you'll probably want to change them to something made out of plastic eventually. Cardboard can get soiled and retain bacteria and mold which isn't too good for your snake. The hide should be a snug fit so that your snake can feel the sides when it's coiled up inside.

thanks for the input. definitely agree with putting the acu-rite in the tank, going to right now actually. about the cardboard, i change the cardboard hides pretty frequently due to the same reasons, easily soiled, that mite problem, and just making sure she's loving them. they seem pretty good sized for her, she's about 4 feet and the i made sure the entrance was even snug going in for the least light and most secure it could feel. anyone and everyone, thanks and keep giving me feedback. later.
