Cops

I was just watching cops and they got a call about a snake.They arrive at the house and it's a harmless rat snake but instead of moving it to another location they mace it,knock it in the head with their stupid black stick and throw it in the trash can.I got so mad.

They maced it and beat it with a night stick? WTH? I thought they would kill it or something, but they maced it??

Yeah,it was still alive and they toss it in the garbage can like trash.

I hate watching that show. I have been a deputy sheriff for a couple years, and never acted like those clowns. Most of it is overacting for the camera, but that certainly doesn't excuse the behavior.

I actually felt horrified when I saw that back monthes ago. It was a HARMLESS snake, and they just brutally walked up and killed it.

That episode really burned me. Mark and I always watch COPS (is ther ANYone who remembers an episode where the girl's boyfriend had a gun in their apartment, and she called the cops and had him arrested and he yelled (Rochelle! Roehelle! Why you do me like that?) I would KILL to see this one again!
But cops killing snakes; completely stupid. I wish people in general were more aducated about what isn't poisonous.

Anyone else did that they would of been up on animal cruelty charges!

Its sad but killing a harmless snake minding his own business doesn't count as animal abuse very often but hitting a dog that attacks you will get charges put on you. I don't think people consider snakes to have feelings. Why don't they fine people for killing snakes? They would fine us for killing a deer without a permit right? Does a snake not have feelings like a deer does? Does a snake not contribute to the eco system? They sure do!!!
