One of My Favorite Girls

Aw heck, who am I kidding? They're all favorites in different ways. Echo was, to me, an average looking little girl when I first acquired her. I am thrilled with how she has blossomed as she's grown! She's absolutely stunning in person.

This is one of my chunky monkey mousers. This girl gets two medium mice a week and today - empty - she weighs 796 grams (she just had to hold back those last four grams on me! LOL)

Very clean Robin. I see that collection in your signature keeps growing. Looks like it's time to buy another rack. I like Echo, and have a very similar female that I was waiting on eggs from this year, but she refused to give them to me. Maybe next year. Good luck on breeding that beauty.

Another rack is in my future and I'll have five individual tubs (so, until I start breeding, I say 15 is my limit). The current rack holds 10 juvies and can be expanded (by removing dividers) to hold five adults. I plan to purchase an identical rack and everyone will have their own full tub.

Yeah, 15 was my limit too, and now I'm over 150. You better watch out.

I understand that. I built a snake house, then I needed an addition, so I built one. Now I need another addition, and I think it will be built this winter. I can never seem to have enough room.

Thanks Jen! It's really funny how you can have the same aged animals that came in at the same time, and they're all different shapes and sizes on the same diet! She and Sullivan are the two most solidly built, Pandora is bigger, but not as solid muscle as those two. But then too, it could be that Pandora's just more relaxed when being held and doesn't tense up as much. LOL

Echo is just beautiful, and she sure had grown!! :gj:
