Just gotta post a "woohoo!" thread. Weighed and measured Cleo tonight; weighed in at 612g completely empty ("Where's - my - ratty?!") and hit 36" on the nose!

Cleo in 1/2006: 120g, 19"
Cleo in 8/2006: 612g, 36"

is that type of growth normal? i just got mine and it is about 19" and i just want an idea of how big it should get within the next year.

I think Cleo's growth would be considered "good" - she eats voraciously and has been (*knocks on wood*) very healthy, taking to living with us very well.
In de Vosjoli's book, The Ball Python Manual (1995), there is a chart for weight gain in female ball pythons in the section written by Tracy and David Barker (of VPI). The chart shows massive weight growth that seems to put Cleo right on track with where she should be. =)
