    uth question
I currently have one snake in a tub, I'm using a Exo Terra UTH on it because I had no way of getting flexwatt in time at the time and I had no knowledge on how to use it. My future rack plans include it though :D.

Anyways my question is, is that is that safe to use on a tub and does it work properly? The current temp on the warm side is around 86F.

Yoshi seems to be doing fine, he regulates himself and is active at night (always trying to escape lol).

Flexwatt is OK to use in tubs. Just make sure you run it with a thermostat or a dimmer, otherwise flexwatt uncontrolled can reach 115-120 degrees, definitely not good for your snake.

I want to use flexwatt under the tubs when I make my rack.
I wanted to know if the Exo Terra UTH I use now, is safe to use under the tubs. Did I confuse you? I do that to people sometimes lol

Are you asking if its ok to use the ET heat mat in the rack you could eventually have?

If yes, then I'd say no. You want to have a uniform heat source on a rack so it can be controlled with one tstat. Otherwise your temps could be all over the place from tub to tub.

I think you are asking if its ok to use the heat mat NOW...if you have a thermostat or dimmer controlling it, its ok. If you don't, then no, it's not safe.

Yes I was asking if it was okay just to use the ET on the 2 tubs now, while using a thermostat. Thank you.

Shouldn't the warm side be 92ish? Or am I missing something?
