Snake tounge

I was holding my ball python today and his tounge would stay out not moving for a few seconds then it would move. Maybe longer. Is thier something wrong with my snake, or am I over reacting.

He is just tasting the air around him for a possible snack.,

No its more than likely just trying to see what a smell is and where its comming from.
