One clutch hatched, three more to go.

This clutch from my anery dbl het snow/ghost pair finally hatched a couple weeks ago. Here they are pipping....

Final count, 2 ghost, 6 snow and 14 anery. They get thier first meal tomorrow, and most are going to a local pet store here soon. Mom is gravid again and about to lay in the next few days.

I also pulled another clutch yesterday, but was somewhat dissappointed to find this.

6 good eggs, and 13 slugs :( This mom laid 18 good eggs a couple months ago (should be hatching any day now), and I obviously didn't get my male back in with her in time. (he was busy with my other female :D) I was surprised to see more eggs in this clutch than her first one though. This being her first year producing, I'm still pretty happy with the results.

Congrats on the hatchlings!! Sorry to hear about the slugs:( .My snow threw a third clutch the other day (from one breeding)i ended up 4 good 6 slugs,this was here second year .It happens its part of nature,better luck next year.

Wow, those babies are beautiful! Anery's are so growing on me.
