    Handling After Feeding?
I am wondering how long I should wait to handle the snake after he has eaten a fairly large meal? Advice, Suggestions?

I do not handle my snakes for a couple days(2 or 3).You should only be feeding your ball a prey item equal to its thickest area maybe a little bigger.Try not to over feed your ball as it tends to make them into fatties lol.How old is your ball? What is it eating at this time?

It's better to wait 48 hours. Don't listen to your pet shop, most likely they don't know what they are doing.

Not being rude to you here, pet store employees are not a good source of info majority of the time.I leave my snakes alone for at least 2 to 3 days after a meal.I leave the babies alone for at least the 3 days time period, why take the chance to upset there delicate systems.

    1) Don't go by what pet store employees say. In general they tend to great sources of incorrect info. I had an employee tell me that 4 feet is small for a bp and I chould expect them to easily get to 6-7 feet and 12-14 inches around. I'd like to see that bp!
    2) Definately wait at least 48 hours after feeding to handle you snake.

I agree, I've heard some crap come out the mouths of pet store employees. Basically, most of these people don't even own a reptile and never have!

Take what they say with a grain of salt!
