    Kenyan Sand Boa
I just ran across one of these little adult guys at my local reptile store. ADORABLE!

    Who all here has one?
Are there any good care sheets out for them?

I have two.. and a roughscaled sand boa.

Can't find a more docile and laid back snake.. awesome little buggers! Just make sure it's feeding well before you buy it.

After seeing April's we got an anery. The first feeding was sort of tense, because she almost didn't take the FT but she's been gobbling and growing ever since.

VERY escape capable!!! (as Aleesha can attest to), and Oreo's escaped twice out of her 10g tank with us. She loooooooves to hang out on the rim/lip of the tank, just under the lid, or along side the glass and YES!! she DOES climb, A LOT!!!! We had to put a total of four clips, two down each long side of the lid to snap it down enough. So far, so good.....no more escapes.

She's only tried to bite us twice since we got her in March, but she's soooooo tiny, that you can barely feel it. But it's funny because she thinks she's such a big snake, and Robin dubbed her "earf worm". Now that she's growing, :D :D we may need to come up with a new nickname/endearment for her. :)

    Really fun little snake.

We got Oreo when we went to the herp show in Eugene in March. The breeder/vendor table was "Snakes of Ra", a local.

Maybe you'll be able to find a local breeder doing a google, or on Kingsnake.com.

All of my sand boas came from Jason Hess at Jason's Jungle. I'm not sure if he's got any available right now, but shoot him an e-mail!
