    Enclosure size for Hogg?
Can anyone recommend an appropriate enclosure size for a male Hogg Island Boa? I've checked out some care sheets and I'm seeing conflicting info...I think because there are so many crosses out there that tend to get a little bigger than a pure Hogg??? I wouldn't think they would need anything bigger than what an adult Ball would need...maybe something a little taller though...

I would say for a pure line hogg, a female would need a 4' by 2' and she would be fine. An adult male would make use of one that size for sure. I wouldn't go smaller than a 3' by 2' for a male hogg. If you have the room, a 4' by 2' cage would be best for a LARGE one. Its really up to you.

What about height? I imagine they would need something with a little more height than the standard Sterilite tub, which is what I have my snakes in now. I would love to be able to just buy another AP 3 tub rack and call it done, but I'm thinking they need something that allows them to climb around on some branches, etc...:D

Adult boas aren't big climbers. 12" would be enough height IMO. I have a branch/fake tree that stands about 10" high and Ruby climbs on it only every once in a while. Height isn't a HUGE issue at all

    Height really doesn't matter.

If it's a small male, a 3'x2' cage is fine.. large male, 4'x2'.
