    moving tanks when feeding
I like to feed my BP live prey becuase she seems to take it better. I was reading a python book and it says to remove the snake from its enclosure during feeding, so they don't think its time to eat everytime its open. Then i read that the snake shouldn't be handled for 24-48hrs after feeding. How do you get them back in thier enclosure without regerg? Does anyone remover their snake before feeding?

I feed all of mine in their enclosure (live). I don't remove anything in the enclosure, just place the mouse on the opposite end of the enclosure from the snake.

It's a myth that they will associate your hand with food (unless of course, you've been handling rodents and haven't washed your hands).

Yah, I think the general consensus here on BP.net is do what works for you but that it is not necessary. The hand - food association is a myth since you reach into the cage for all sorts of reasons: cleaning, handling, changing water (unless of course you don't clean, ever handle your snake or change it's water)...at least for BPs.

I feed our girls right in their cages as well and have not had any problems. =)

Ok thats great. the reason im worrying is i have alot of people over at my place and some enjoy my baby sally and want to get her out for handling. i would hate for someone to get bite. i really worried about my girlfriend getting bit but she is gone for the moment. thats why im thinking of getting another snake. She hate em. in excess at least. thank you
