Ambient temp probe placement

I put my new rack in a closet and then put a space heater in the closet. I was gonna hook up a thermastat to the space heater but I don't know where the best place to put the probe for the thermast. I was thinking on the inside of the rack on one of the side walls.

try hanging it from the ceiling in the middle of the closet or slightly in front of the rack. hang it 3 or 4 ft. down. give it a try and experiment if you don't get the results you want.
