Ok, He likes bugs!!!

Well I gave him 24 crickets and he ate the ones he could find. Now should I get him on more of an bug diet with a few mice a week or keep him on more whole prey? As you can tell im kinda new to this so as much help as I can get is greatly appriciated. Thanks, Trey

i feed about 20-30 crickets a day and every other day i feed as many mice as he will take. even as an adult you need to still feed xl crickets. because balck throats tend to be a little on the fat side, and crickets are harder to catch and requier a little more excersize.this is the advice that was given to me by one of the few breeders who breed them in captivity, and has great success.
