Re: Humidity way too high
I'd add more holes. It's pretty humid in our home and we have a lot of holes especially in the lids. As well watch that AC blowing directly on the snake enclosure.
Re: Humidity way too high
mines too low...its barely 50%...its like 49%...i want it higher...
Re: Humidity way too high
I think adding a few more holes would help. You can also try using a fan, to ciruclate the air a bit better. Just be careful not to add too many holes or you will be hating life in the winter. The heating in the winter dries the air out significantly!! ;)

Ryan, this is one of those posts that doesn't contribute much. There's no information that Grim91Z can use, nor is there any actual question being asked. It's just a random statement flying in the breeze. Why not look in the search function and point Grim91z in that direction. If you humidity is low, and I'd say 49% is fine, you shouldn't worry too much until you have a more accurate reading.
Again I'm not saying this to be mean, but I want to give you some constructive critism... a specific place to start in improving your contribution to the site. :D
Re: Humidity way too high
Ok, it went down to the mid-60's shortly after I made this post. I think I figured it out. It was after I changed the water, and when I added more some must have splooged over next to the acu-rite device. Even with the lid completely off it remained at around 80. I stil added a few more holes, just to keep it between 50 and 60 for humid days. I can always tape them up if it decides to drop below 50. Thanks for the help, even though it was a stupid move on my part.
