I’m a premium cigar smoker. In humidors we have to watch the temp and humidity on a daily basis. This is a picture of a Thermo/Hydrometer used for cigar humidors. They are VERY accurate. They will keep the hottest and coldest temp in memory. The meter will also keep hi and low humidity. You can switch from Fahrenheit tosulcus. They are razor thin. Battery operated. (No wires!) There is a magnet on the back with a fixable metal plate/sticker that you can sick anywhere. The only thing I can see bad is if you mist your BP, you might get water in the vents for the sensors. Other than that, I have not had a problem with them. Tell me what you think. Here is the link for the meter. http://www.famous-smoke.com/cigars/s...cfm/inum/17655

That doesn't look to bad, and quite a bit sleeker than the Accurite models although a little more expensive. My biggest concern would be the sticky pads in the tank. You shouldn't have a problem because they have the magnet and steel plate to keep them separate, but you should keep in mind that it is a potential hazard. Adhesives and snakes don't get along too well...

True... I dident think about that. Glue being that close to a heat lamp might let off toxic fumes.

And plus, you need to measure the ground temps inside the warm and cool hides as well as the ambient temps. Since it doesn't have a probe to measure a separate location as well as what the temp the actual unit it measuring, it won't work too well.
