    Thermostat
If I buy a Ranco thermostat, which I will sometime in October-November, I'm going to need more than 6 outlets that comes with it, because I might breed down the road. Will I have to buy another thermostat just for a couple of more outlets?

It depends on what you are running off of the thermostat. Thermostats have wattage limits, so it is best to research what kind of wattage it can handle and what kind of wattage your heating elements require.

I think it handles 500 watts. It doesn't say anywhere on Matt's site.

Shoot Matt and email to see what he thinks about wiring more outlets into the ranco.

You're probably going to want a different thermostat for any different setup that you might have. I'd recommend one thermostat per rack, but you could probably get away with using it for more than one rack IF the racks are identical.

If you're going to breed ball pythons, you might want to look for a t-stat that allows for a night time drop.

There are several t-stats that support night time drop ... with a little research I am sure that finding the best one for your needs won't be too hard.
