    The princess and the slob
Before I go to work every morning I check all of the snakes and clean any cages that need cleaning. This morning I noticed that a few of my snakes were out which usually means I have some cages to clean.

I have two pastels that are half-sibs. I started with the girl and although her cage looked clean, I noticed that it was a little wet. Then I noticed a huge log under her hide. She neatly did her business that night, then waited patiently on top of her water bowl for me to clean out the cage.

After I finished with her I checked on her brother. It was like there was a poo party at his place, and he invited all of his biker friends to join in the festivities. There was poo EVERYWHERE. Of course he was under his hide snoozing and probably cracking up to himself because he knew he was going to make me late. :rainon:

It did. :) It's nice to leave the house knowing that they're all in clean cages, but I think I might soak that male when I get home. :bleh:

    Definitely! He's on notice... :colbert:

I may just have to invent snake diapers if he continues this type of behavior.

LOL. How do you explain that to the boss? "Sorry i'm late sir (or ma'am), I had to clean the doo-doo out of my snake cage."

Now watch, karma will get me for this post.

LOL. My boss is the biggest ophidiophobe I've ever seen, which is strange because he routinely swims with the sharks at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in order to clean the tanks. If he has a problem with my occasional tardiness, I'll tell him that I would be happy to bring the snakes into the office in order to clean them. :P
