    First ever clutch hatched!
Good morning everyone. I'm relatively new to the forum - I've been reading your posts for a few weeks and have only respondeed once or twice because I wanted to get a feel for the group. I am very impressed with this community. Having lurked :lurk: on several forums I must say you're welcoming, informative, and a lot more accepting of dumb questions than many others. I don't like the drama so I have not gone back to a few forums I tried out. Thanks for creating and maintaining a "safe Place" for newbies.

Well, after 76 days my fist ever clutch hatched Monday and yesterday. http://snakebytesforum.com/forum/Smi...fault/danc.gif

I had 6 eggs from my beautiful albino male I purchased from Chris Bianco and an albino het girl I got from Brian Sharp. This clutch was maternally incubated for the first 60 days because the Natures Spirit incubator that I ordered hadn't arrived before they hit the ground. I left them with mom for 60 days - she stayed with them every day. I never saw her unwrap from around the eggs, even to go get a drink of water. When the eggs hadn't begun to dimple after 60 days I pulled the eggs and put them in my incubator. About ten days later they started to dimple so we cut the eggs slightly (I was too afraid to cut much). I was sure I had screwed up big time by leaving them with mom and then moving them, but all the eggs still looked viable when we cut them.

Well, finally on Monday I began seeing little heads peek out. What a thrill! They were all out by last night. The results were 2.2 high contrast albinos and .2 100% het albinos. The ball pythons gods were smiling on us with this one.
