I've heard of some approaching 6 feet in length. Generally it's 3-5, though.

They vary in body structure just like people do. I have 3 adult males, and this is where they were at as of Saturday on empty:
Spoon - 8 years old - 1824g - approx. 4'3" long
Diego - 3 years old - 2267g - approx. 4' long
Java - 11 years old - 2489g - approx. 4'10" long

althoug i have no first hand experience witht his i have read in various sources that males generally tend to stay around 4 feet. there have been instances of 5 feet but it is a rarity.
females tend to get larger up to around 5 feet and in some instances 6 feet (again a rarity)
