    Pastel Lines?
I want to know what makes a piticular Pastel line worth more $$?

The only Line of Pastel I really know of off hand is NERD. so what makes the NERD Line Pastels worth so much, and so popular?

I saw one for sale that was an 06 male up for $800 and it was a NERD line pastel.

at first I was thinking it must be rare but I see adults and babies from this line up for sale all the time. most sell with in days.

last question and I will leave you all alone...

What is a Lemon Pastel? I see alot of thoughs too. :sigh2:

I believe most of it has to do with how well they retain thier color as they age. Some pastels will brown out, and some will keep the same color, or even lighten a bit with age. I guess some lines are just commonly believed to age better than others? NERD, Graziani, VPI and BHB (which is what I have) are some of the more well know lines of pastels.

I believe price also depends on the quality of each particular animal. Some pastels, regardless of line, are just hotties~!
I also believe Lemon Pastel is associated with the NERD line...Called Lemon due to the intense yellow color which does not brown out with age...NERD's website would probably confirm this...

*Also be aware that alot of people throw around the term "Lemon" in particular when talking about Pastels that aren't necessarily true NERD Lemons...*

the enchi is a hottie but it's alot different then the pastels we see around here. it's more extreme colorraton(SP) to it. and has a price tag to boot but i have been watching then for over a year now and they only get better if you ask me.

Some lines are worth more than others because not every line grows up to look like this ...

Some lines are better for consistantly producing nicer babies and for those babies holding their colors well into adulthood ... those lines are generally priced a little higher, and rightly so. :sweeet:

Adam when it comes to selling pastels are they graded according to certain standards within a line? What I mean (and I'm probably not saying this right lol) but is a pretty Graziani graded and worth more than another...same with Lemons, etc.
