Hi folks, just a few more pics of my wee rescue, into the tenth week of her rehab. She seems to be growing a lot in confidence, she has started to eat food from my hand albeit she will only take small locusts from my hand, she turns her nose up at everything else i offer her. She has also started to explore her viv a lot more and has decided to sleep all her day on the cool side outside of her hide, is this normal behaviour or just a wee quirk she has developed.

The difference in that gecko is truly amazing! Lovely pics too. Sorry I have no advice about her habits, I don't own a leopard though I want a couple of females someday just for pets. You've done an outstanding job rehabbing her, she's one lucky little gecko!

Thanks the transformation has been amazing, they must be very hardy wee lizards. The night i got her and realised how bad a condition she was in, i can't believe she has pulled through and so beautifully taking into consideration what effects the move, new viv, new hides, new surroundings and new smells had on her stress levels. I thought that would have finished her off for certain.

Quick question, is it ok to gutload the crickets with citric fruits, apples and bananas. Just wondering if the high acidity levels of the citrus would be too much for the gecko or not

I find that my leos don't even use their hides usually. Mine aren't "tame" either though. They hate to be held. I really need to start putting more time into them. Great job with the rehab.
