how much does 1 feeder rat cost??

I don't know what your pet shops sell them for - maybe you can call them? ;)

here the small rats are $3.99

jw for when i have to upgrade to rats when my snake gets bigger....cuz feeder MICE r so cheap...only $1.50...i knew rats had to be a few dollars more...

Well you're comparing apples to oranges really. If a small mouse is $1.50 and a small rat is around $3.00 that makes sense since that small rat is going to be a lot bigger and cost more for the pet store to feed and house (less per tank) than the small mouse. If you wanted the same prey volume of a small rat you'd have to buy more than one of those $1.50 mice.

weird...that stores messed up

I have a choice of many pet stores in my area, but one store is unbeatable! Mice of all sizes-$1.00 and rats of all sizes-$2.00. Yes, I know, even jumbos!

i payed 1.30 for mice and now 1.99 for small rats.
