Breeding JCPs

i'm planning on breeding my JCPs this winter. i was wondering if any1 has had personal experience with breeding these snakes? i want to do natural, maternal incubation, i know the the humidity has to be up and the temp has to be arround 86* is there anythins else i should know??

I bred carpets for many years ... never did maternal incubation though ... my personal opinion is that it's better for the female to take the eggs and incubate them. :sweeet:

I've always built my own ... The book "The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas" by Richard A. Ross has a good blueprint for a home made incubator ... but I'm sure others could recommend a good commercial system.

D. Bartlett's little paperback book on general snake care has some great step by step instructions for incubators... and of course, there's always the all powerful 'google'.
