    Humidity too high
I just put in that coconut husks stuff earlier today. It went from 45% to 69% within a half hour and has stayed there since. I'm also using a glass viv (36LX15DX14H) and did the aluminum+electrical tape screen lid trick with 75% covered (all one side). I was having the hardest times keeping the humidity up adn now I'm trying to get it down. Will the high 60's hurt the snake? Would cutting out the two corners on the cool side help?

Just allow more air flow by removing some of the covering on the screen top. :gj:

That coconut stuff will dry out over time and then only need misting every three or four days do keep the RH where it should be

Exactly. The humidity always jumped like that for me whenever I put in new substrate or misted. It goes down after it dries out a bit, he'll be fine. :)

Well, as the cool side temps drop the humidity drops. It was a scortcher today (a humid one at that). I had a hard time keeping the cool side temps down. I think the airflow may have helped, though. It's at 65 right now.

    Thanks everyone. :)
