    Are these morphs?
The first pic is of a ball python the storekeeper called "high gold" or "high orange." I was wondering if it was any kind of morph.

The BP in the next set of pics was sold to us as a normal, and we were wondering if it was either a yellow belly or, if not, if it might be some other type of morph.

what makes them not morphs? The first one looks to us like a pastel, but I'm not really surprised it's a normal.....but the one we thought was a yellow belly, we have seen breeder pics of yellow bellies that look JUST LIKE OURS. So, esp. the second one, what about it makes it a normal instead of a YB??

First of all, the fact that you got it from a pet store makes it a 99.99% certainty that it's not a morph. Second, it doesn't look like a YB.
    Check out this link.
If you still think it is, the only way to tell for certain is to prove it out (Breed it to another YB, or breed it and mate it again to its offspring).

In most cases, if you have to ask if this is a morph - it's not. But if you're still sure, you can always breed them and see if you can prove them out.

You can really appreciate morphs more if you see them in person. Sometimes pictures don't do an animal justice.
