    Snake Alarm?
    I'm sure it's because he's in shed, but Mr Slithersworth isn't all that active. I'm not sure how active BPs usually are, but I thought 'wouldn't it be neat if a 'snake alarm' could alert you to activity?' Well, I found this doo-dad on the Home Depot site:

    White PAR Light Motion Sensor Adapter

    Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a direct link will work, so go to homedepot.com and run a search on that item.

    Basically, it's a motion sensor hooked to a light socket. I figure one could run it to a light in the living room or something so that you can be alerted to the fact that your snake is out and about. Think I could be onto something, or am I just crazy? I may stop by there today and pick one up.

    you could match the voltage or use a transformer and hook it up to close a relay that powers a doorbell? that's a different dinking project for sure.
