* Hide Boxes Question *

does there have to be 2 hide boxes in the snake tank cuz i currently only have 1???

and what does those decimals mean next to the name of ur animal...like "1.0 ball python" ???

Think about it from the snake's point of view....

I love my hide...nice and snuggly and dark and secure....
Whew...it's getting a bit warm in here...I need to cool off....
.....no hide...scarey....can't sleep without a hide.....
.....stay too warm???....or stay out where some big eagle may grab me???

In other words...if you only have one hide, you force them to have to choose between proper thermoregulation and security. Hides are extremely simple and inexpensive to make. There's no reason to not provide them. The very BEST you can do for your snake is two identical hides in the two different temp zones of your enclosure.
