Question about Cages by Design
Im thinking of going this route but I have no idea which cage would be ideal for an adult savannah. Can someone help me and take a look at their website and tell me which one I should get if I get one. Just don't want to spend the money and not get enough room or overpay for unused room. Thanks, Trey
Re: Question about Cages by Design
an adult savannaha monitor needs at a minimum 8 ft by 4ft by 4ft. thats right at a min. i would recomend at least a 10 long 4ft tall by 5ft deep. the 4ft tall is so you can have 2 ft of soil. good luck finding a company that makes a cage that size. the only place i know of is cages by design. http://www.cagesbydesign.com/ but they range in the 2500 to 4000 dollor range. eventually i will get one for my water monitor but for my savannaha i will make a cage.

Re: Question about Cages by Design
also keep in mind it has to allow for dirt so your sav can burrow. atleast 2 feet once its an adult.
