    Forums acting weird
or maybe i'm weird....it seems that every time I come here and find a new thread and click on it, it takes me to them middle of the thread rather than the first post and i have to scroll to the top and begin reading. it's a pain...anyone else?

It will take you to the newest post in the thread that you haven't read. Everytime you visit the forums and leave, it marks all posts as read, so you haven't read all new posts by the time you close the forum, when you return and open a post, it may not open to the top of the thread, but rather to where it marked the post as read.

    She pretty much nailed it.

It also depends on where you are getting to the thread from.

If you go into the forums and then chose a thread from there you will get this (using this thread as an example)

    Code:

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=32814

If you use the "active topics" page it takes you to the most recent post like this

    Code:

    http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&threadid=32814

is there an option to change this? even if I have read a thread, i sometimes like to start at the beginning and scroll over all of the posts just as a refresher. Is this something that I can change in my personal settings? or is this a setting that is non changable through out the board?

It is a board-wide function based on "Active Threads" - since the focus of that is the latest threads the threads themselves are geared the same way and will display the latest posts.
