Thank you Vaughn and Chris (*** Dialup Warning ***)
A little over exposed, but a quick tweak of the shudder and I'm getting there. Didn't realize how bad the reflection of off the acrylic would jack the focus.

Anyway, these are for you guys (the pictures, not the snakes) :P

    Cinnamon Pastel (1 day old)

    Spider (1 hour old)

Hypo (just had his first meal today ... about 2 weeks old)

    Thanks again guys! :worship:

    WOW!!!

Those are some hot photos and ball pythons!

If you put a super thin sheet of paper between the ambient light source and snake it will reduce the refraction off the skin. Allowing the light to be absorbed into the skin as a softer fill.

    You are my hero

Hell yeah! I need to go out and get a tripod and black acrylic riser (and light tent and light) so my snakes can look a fraction as good!

Yeah, I'm working on it .... I'm already shooting the light through the tent and actually used the "tent cover" for the first time ... I just think that the light was a little too close .... I really underestimated how much light the acrylic would throw back up at the snake ... Little more tweaking and I think I'm there.
