    New Rack
I am looking to build a new rack for my BP's as my 'hobby room" is full of my fish and snakes. Due to this problem arising I need to create a rack for different size snakes.

At present I have a pair at 90cm, an adult female at 110cm and another female at 90cm. Would these all be ok in adult sizes?

I want to create a new rack for varying sizes of snakes so how do I put baby tubs on a shelf without wasting too much space because towards the bottom obviously the space would be fully utilized by an adult tub

sterilite makes a 15 qt.and 32 qt tubs that are the same height. you could make a rack that holds (2) 15 qt side by side, or one 32 qt tub. so you could mix and match. i'm sure if you did a search, you could find some pics on the web.

I would go with Vaughn's suggestion. I was trying to figure out how to say what he said without a picture, but he did a great job of describing it. I have a friend who has plenty of this type of rack, and they work really well for keeping different sized animals. Once they get to big, pull out the two small tubs and replace with one big tub.

ok so the length of the smaller tubs would be the same as the larger one but the width different so you can fit two for instance.

You gotter.. Try www.animalplastics.com and look at their 1754 series to get an idea of what it would look like.

Ok but if you have a look at a BP caresheet the recommended tub size for a hatchling and adult are different so finding large tubs and smaller ones with the same length just does not happen

    anyone got any pics?

I use 3 diff size tubs/racks for my relatively small collection:

    6 x 15qt rack for hatchlings <450 grams
    7 x 28qt for juvies 450-1500 grams

    6 x 41 qt for adults 1500-and up

In other words, its going to be difficult to contruct and all-in-one unit per se. Once you get a couple racks built with space to expand your collection, you won't be sorry you built more than one rack.
