We've decided to name the new baby girl Elphaba, Elphie for short. Those of you you have read "Wicked" will know where we came up with the name ;)

She's starting to get settled into her new home quite nicely. She was very shy at first, but is definitely warming up to us!

She is a LOT easier than Trey, but the truth is that I know a lot more now than I did when I got him for my daughter. I wish I had known the signs to look for in him from the beginning. I'm trying not to beat myself up too much over that. I know a lot of people started out exactly where I did, and at least I have this site to come to for help.

You've got a great attitude Sarah and I know we are all pulling for you and Trey (and of course your daughter). It's a fast learning curve and a lot of us have been there ourselves with different issues with our snakes.

She's quite lovely; I rather like the light colouration down her back.
