Making friends on this forum...(pics too!)

I have joined this forum for only about six months...but I have received so much more than just knowledge. Before I joined this forum, I would NEVER have even contemplated getting a snake shipped to me, but I now have three snakes purchased from wonderful members. I also would never found out about the breeders that are close enough to visit and eagerly await a trip to their shop. Never knew I could do a breeding loan until now and am so excited about doing it!!And last but not least, I have made a friend. The very first day I joined this forum (seems like ages ago), the first person to welcome me as a new member was ivvylea (Amber). Turns out she lived in PA too. Also turns out her husband has the same name as my boyfriend too! Since then we have met at a reptile show, had long "snakey conversations" on the phone, and recently had a blast at That Fish Place, a GINORMOUS pet store in Lancaster. I got to meet her two cutie pies, Sophia and Zoe, and sexed her huge 3000g BP , which turned out to be a big boy (sorry Amber). I look forward to another trip soon..:D
This forum is full of wonderful people, and great characters and I am so glad I joined. :love:

I brought Zephyr too, as well as Percy and Maximus so, that Amber and the girls could meet them. Amber brought her big boy Sayani (sp?), as well, and we got a lotta "lookers" in the store when she took him out!

the touch tank is great for kids. the girls love it, and best of all, it's like going to the Aquarium ...for free!

Very nice tribute to your friend and wonderful pictures! I was thinking today how much I've enjoyed the friendships I've made here myself and how I can't wait to finally meet some of them in SIX WEEKS! (not that I'm counting) at Daytona!


I've made some very good friends here, friendships that have only been by phone, e-mail or IM, but good people that I'm proud to call friend!

the people here is great!! (havent finde a friend like you guys but it will hapend lol) and that pet store is jut craizy!! love it
