Re: Humidity?
For daily keeping, 50-60% is considered fine and healthy. When they go into shed, try to bump it up to 60-70% for the duration.

Re: Humidity?
When exactly is the best time to bump it up? Trey started turning blue yesterday, should I do it now or wait?

Re: Humidity?
Yeah, I would do it at the first sign of going into shed. And a few days later when you find the shed skin, drop it back to the normal range.

Re: Humidity?
When u msit how much do you mist? I mean like a few sprays? Make it damp? How much should i be msiting my BP whne they go into shed to raise the humidity. I have trouble keeping humidity high lately now that summer started.

Re: Humidity?
Do you have a canapy on your tank. That is the best way to keep heat a humidity.

Re: Humidity?
I'm going to rely on some experienced people to help you, but a few things I have done:
Trey is in a glass aquarium with a screen top. I added some ConTac paper to the screen, covering about 2/3 of it, to keep in moisture. This has stabilized his humidity.
I added a bigger water bowl, with more surface water.
I put half the water bowl over his UTH.
I sprayed 3 squirts of mist tonight, will do it again in the morning if he needs it.
