Me: Ma-tsu, you have a humid hide/nest box, stop soaking and use it you're making me nervous. If you're gonna lay, it's gonna be pretty soon so... stop that!

Ma-tsu: Okie dokie! :wuv: *she slithers into her humid hide... all but her tail end, which she leaves in the water*

Me: Why are you leaving your butt in the water?!?

Ma-tsu: Tee hee!

Me: If you lay those eggs in your water dish, so help me...

She's been doing this all week... her whole self in the humid hide except her head and her rear end! Her tush submerged in the water, and her head resting on the edge smiling at me. She's making me paranoid! Yeash... I know this is old hat to her, but I'm a newbie! She could cut me some slack! :confused:

well it's definatly not the opposite!

You could always just move the water dish so her butt couldn't be in it when she's in the humid hide.

If it was me i would remove the water dish and only place it back in the enclosure for a short time.If she lays those eggs in the water they will drown.Keep us posted

Yeah, I would take out the water dish, or leave one in there sao tiny she could only get a sip of water from, should she need it.

What a minx! Yeah I vote for smaller water dish...drinking only, everyone out of the pool!
