Sorry guys... I took some pics tonight and they turned out so well I wanted to share a few. Meet my niece, Macy Rae! She'll be one year old on July, 3rd.

That is the commonly seen Kiddus Monsterus. Known for wiping dirty, snotty hands on couches, clothes, passing cats. That is a cute specimen you found. :)

I agree with Jamie though I believe it's the well known subspecies "anklus biteri". Best known for drooling on one's best sweater, leaving tooth marks on good leather and having the sweetest smiles ever seen! :)

She's darling Lynn and what a lovely name!

WOW!!! What an awesome biteri you have there!!! :D

Now that's one critter I'm scared to acquire...nice to see gorgeous specimens in the hands of responsible keepers! You should be VERY proud!

    :)

Awww now Kara if you ever get the urge heck I have four of them of various ages and both genders. I'll happily ship you out one :P I believe the larger subadult male to be the morph of the biteri known as the xboxitcus. These ones are super easy keepers...you just prop them close to an electric outlet, plug in the gaming system and your all set. They don't normally strike or hiss unless they either fail level 9 or run out of Cheetos. :D

Jo, darlin', I love ya but NO!!! What you don't realize is that I have one of my own. It just happens to be an adult male that morphed from biteri to evilmorphgodspazipeltis without notice. In other words, he exhibits distinct "oldersomething-going-on-10yrs old" behavior on a semi-regular basis. He's a rare specimen (thank goodness) of the male gender that constantly proves the theory of "while a fine line separates genius & insanity, male immaturity lasts forever."

    ;)

In all seriousness though, I do love kids a ton. Fortunately there are enough in my family that I can borrow some adorable little ones from time to time. :D

No acquiring here! I'm just as terrified... it will be QUITE a few years yet before I feel experienced enough to keep my own. But I figure I can get some experience in watching this one for my sis... besides, she's sooooo cute, and has a great temperament.

In all seriousness, I love this kid. She's really great. I'm watching her tonight because I'm taking her up to get tubes put in her ears tomorrow... her momma has to work.
