an egg with a tail!

as this week begins another round of crested eggs becoming due to hatch i went to check the incubator, and low and behold, one of the eggs had grown a tail!

upon closer inspection i found a hatchling in the incubator, sans tail. apparently when the gecko was emerging from the egg it must have felt trapped or maybe the opening in egg pinched on its tail or something...this is a first, so who knows what happened exactly.

Lol, he's going to have a complex when he sees all the other cresties with their tales. He'll be an outcast, a loner, scarred for life...
