    Ball Python Pics?
I have always wondered why people take pics of ball pythons on black back grounds.... in particular to sell them. I think (just my own opinion) that it does nothing for them and in fact lessons how nice they look.

    What do you think?

Personally - I like the black backgrounds. Maybe some of you guys who have a little more elaborate photography skills and lighting can weigh in - I know if you are just a cheap digicam schmoe like like me taking pics of them on light background can wind up looking funny if your camera has an auto-balance feature. Certainly when you talk morphs the overall hues in the snake itself would tend to influence your choice in backdrops (albino on white for example would not yeild doog contrast). I don't have a studio setup so I'm just talking out of my cloaca.

Cmon you merchandisers and folks with lighting tents etc - thow down here. Ultimately though I think its a subjective choice - just like chosing a theme here (dark v light background).

Yup, it's a subjective topic and discussion, but worth talking about to get different view points that may or may not of been over looked.

I take pictures of ball pythons that I have post for sale on all different kinds of backgrounds and I sell out of everything I produce every single year. I don't think it matters. ;) :D
