Severus just after shedding

Here's the gorgeous little 05 male BCI we (Luke that is) recently adopted from Lynn (ladywhipple). Sev's eating like a typical BCI, wonderful attitude and had a perfect shed tonight. He weighed in tonight at 390 grams.

Boy is he hard to photograph...he won't stay still for a single minute! LOL I finally put a bunch of books under him to catch his attention long enough so I didn't get a bunch of "this is where Severus used to be" pictures.

He is SO beautiful! It's gonna be wonderful watching that one grow up!

It'll be interesting to see if his pattern stays this clean and crisp. For now anyways he's a sweet little boa though it's so odd handling him after being used to Mr. 6 Feet LOL.

it must be a nice change! i am not looking forward to handling drake as he gets older... thank good ness my hubby is willing to do most of the handling so i can just sit back and enjoy his beeeeautiful face ;)

how big is sev? 3-4 ft long?

Sev's about 31 inches long right now.

When you get bored of that ugly boa...let me know and I'll take care of him for ya... ;)

Oh, he'd being doing MUCH more than just "hanging" out. I'd put him to "work" in a heartbeat!

Lol, Jo, he looks so chubby in those pics! But seriously, he looks great.

If you hold him long enough in your hands, he'll usually curl around your fingers, get comfy, and you can get some good photos. But he's too curious to ever sit still when there's stuff to explore. Lol, oh I miss the little guy ;) Blow him a kiss for me.
