De-wormer

I've decided to run de-wormer through all of my snakes as a few have had issues with regurging and Im waiting for them to poop for a fecal sample.

Anyone have input on some generic stuff I can offer via syringe, and how much I will need for hatchlings 40-80 grams (about 400 hatchlings)

I got the generic wormer (pyrantel pamoate/praziquantel) tablets from here http://www.petshed.com/products/category440.asp

The dosage is 8mg/kg of prazi and each pill contains 50mg.

So.. say you have a 1 kg snake:

1kg X 8mg = 8mg
8mg divided by 50mg in the pill = .16 of a pill. Grind a pill up and mix it with 1cc of water and draw up .16cc and there you have it.

I think I have it, good explanation.

Let's say I dose each snake for 100 grams, that is 1/10th of a kilogram. So the dosage is .8mg of prazi

Am i correct in saying that I could mix the entire pill into 6 cc of water, and dose .1cc ?

6-7 tablets for my snakes, not bad!
