    outside pics ?
    Hello every1,

I want to be a bit more creative when taking pics of the boys, & have seen quite a few shots that have been taken outside.

Is there anywhere thats a 'no go' when doing this? obviously im sure time has to limited due to heat source being needed, but really want to take some interesting pics, especially when I get my Royal in a few weeks..

can the snake catch mites or anything else from grass or woodland areas ?

    thanks

P.s sorry if you guys are sick of reading my threads.. I seem to be adding everyday on here now

No worries, Lisa, BPNet would be pretty boring if no one posted regularily LOL.

As far as going outside, I'd just make sure it was for short periods on a nice warm day, make sure you have the snake well in hand or have help so it can't slither off on you accidentally or have some loose dog or cat come rushing up to it, make sure the grass it goes on hasn't been treated or chemically fertilized recently, that sort of stuff. As well, Mike and I are just really careful about what the neighbours might think of our snakes so we don't take them outside much at all. As much as we love and admire the snakes, we know most folks are afraid and we figure there's no need to panic the nice older lady that sits on her porch on a sunny day.

I don't think mites would be an issue, but should give them a good once over looking for ticks when the day is done. ;)
