dry scales??

    dry scales??
    i noticed today that some of ozz's scale's look dryer then the othersi don't kno what could be wrong the humidity is alway's 50 or 52% the cool side is always 80 and thw warm side is at 91 right now that's the coolest i can get it on that side without turning it off does anyonekno what could be causeing it?

    i have noticed this same thing on my BP before. I would not worry untill he/she sheds again. Any time i have noticed this on my BP, after he shed they were gone. If your temps and humidity is fine, than i wouldnt loose any sleep over it.

    I have a few that seem 'dry' lately too. I just spray them down real good and let em be.

    Being that temps and humidity are dead on, you really should not worry much. I agree with the two previous repliers. I have had some shed out and also have had some go away after a few good soaks in warmish water. Good luck with the dry scales and have a good night.

    it happens some times when the humidity is high enough when they're shedding. darn, i could find the link to a thread that i was looking for. ill try to get it for you later.
