    u might want to check if its legal to take rat snakes from the wild in your area

    i can only catch and keep garters and timber rattlesnakes in iowa:rolleyes:

    Wow, kinda off topic but there seems to be a lot of people from Nebraska and Iowa area on this site. That is a beautiful black rat though.
