ANOTHER bunny gender bender (+ the epitome of cute!)

So, Lucky's buddy Benji passed away a few weeks ago. On Tues I went i to my fave pet store to get feeders, and low and behold, the local breeder had just sent a shipment of four ADORABLE baby lion head bunnies!!!!! I have been wanting one for two years now....sooo, on Fri I took Lucky in to "meet" his prospective buddy, and the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable as well....he was sexing the babies and showing me the difference.....come to find out Lucky is a female !!!!!!When I got "him", I checked, and poked and pressed, and thought, looks like a penis to me! I felt like an idiot!!! Sexing snakes is easy for me, but bunnies???!!! Petco doesn't carry rabbits so, I never got the experience down to tell the difference too well....I could if it was a rat,hamster,chinchilla, etc. And when he showed me, the genitals looked almost the same!!! Oh well....needless to say, both Lucky and I picked out this lil cutie pie...his name is Cotton......

Oooooh, how kyoooot! :love: See, this is why in the cartoons Bugs Bunny was always dressing up in drag. You never know with those wabbits! Unut fooled 4 proffessionals *before* his surgery, so don't feel bad about not being able to tell. ;)

Lionheads are such cuties! I'd be tempted if the short haired rabbits and cat weren't killing our vacuum as it is, lol!

Isn't he just the cutest thing??? I could not resist when I saw them...:aww: So, far, when introduced, Lucky and Cotton love all over each other and groom each other...its so fun to watch them interact! Once Cotton completely settles in, I'm gonna have to start a regular grooming routine, cause these guys need good groomin!

If only I wasn't allergic...I would have cages and cages full of them cute little furry critters.

Went to the local pet store fri myself, and they had a mini lop...ohhh I LUV lop eared bunnys! I so wanted to bring it home, but the hubby gave me funny looks and would not let me...... :rainon: :upset: :tears:
